About Us
Dr. Andrew Chan, O.D., B.Sc.
Dr. Chan graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Physiology and continued with his education at the University of Waterloo where he graduated in 2014 with a Doctor of Optometry degree with Dean’s Honours. He has practiced all over the lower mainland and his experiences have led him to work alongside several ophthalmologists in Vancouver and Edmonton. Furthermore, he has traveled as far as Peru as part of a VOSH mission trip to provide eye care.
In his spare time, Dr. Chan enjoys playing badminton, mah-jong, contact juggling, and chatting with others.
Dr. Chan also runs a mobile optometry clinic and visits over 20 long term care facilities across the lower mainland to do eye exams for the residents who face many barriers to eye health care.
Dr. Judy Lee, O.D.
Dr. Judy Lee received her Doctorate of Optometry degree at the State University of New York College of Optometry. She graduated with Dean’s Honours in 2011. She completed her internship at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She has also provided primary eye care as an intern at the Eye Hospital of Wenzhou Medical College in China. Dr. Lee went on to complete her post-graduate residency training at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. She received intense training alongside with prominent optometrists and ophthalmologists in the areas of primary care, and co-management of ocular disease and treatment.
In her spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Lee is always accepting new patients; she is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese. She is delighted to serve in the Aldergrove and nearby community.
Dr. Davinder Sidhu. O.D., B.Sc.
Graduated from UFV in 2017 with Bachelors of Science with focus in Pre-medicine before going to University of Waterloo to complete Doctor of Optometry in 2021. Freshly graduated he enjoys exploring the many different aspects of optometry including management of ocular disease and contact lens fitting.
In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, basketball, swing dancing, spending time with friends and trying to become fluent in Portuguese.
He is capable of speaking both English and Punjabi.
Optician Alannah Van Hierden
Alannah will be the first face you see as you enter the store! She is a fully licensed Dispensing Optician and Contact Lens Fitter. Alannah graduated from the Dispensing Opticianry program at Douglas College in 2014. She was awarded the Dr. David Neima Dispensing Optician Award of Distinction in her graduating year. Alannah has lots of experience with frame selection, measurements, edging, adjustments, contact lens training and fittings.
In her spare time Alannah enjoys hiking, playing dodgeball and baking.
She is available to answer any questions you have about glasses or contact lenses.
Optician Corday Van Vliet
Corday is the newest member of the Aldergrove Optometry team. Having graduated from Douglas College in 2023 with the governor general award, she strives for excellence in all her work. Corday is a Licensed Optician and Contact Lens Fitter.
She will happily assist you in selecting frames, and educating you on lens options. She also enjoys edging and contact lens training. Corday is eager to answer your questions and serve the community of Aldergrove.
In her spare time, Corday enjoys being outdoors, shopping, and spending quality time with family and friends.
